Welcome to Yoga By Tua

Practicing yoga gives us the opportunity to quiet our thoughts and listen inward. We also achieve better body control, flexibility and mental and physical strength. The word YOGA means to unite body and soul to achieve complete presence and enlightenment.

The PINK DOOR on Spannmålsgatan 3 in central Trollhättan, is always open. A warm relaxed feeling starts already in the entrance with lit candles. Then it may be followed by a good cup of tea and with some luck nuts and fruit on the table.

Hello, I’m Tua!

My name is Tua Heimgaard and I am passionate in my profession as a yoga therapist and inspirer. I welcome everyone who wants tp practice yoga, whether you are new and want to try it out or as a devoted yogi, because I believe in yoga as a nurturing  and healing power. Which is something that all people should have the opportunity to experience.

Yoga can be for those who want to look inward, be able to handle everyday stress or find a useful tool. But also for those who want to challenge their physique and flexibility.
In addition to group training and workshops, there is also room for corporate yoga or corporate kickoff.

Which yoga form do you prefer?

Ashtanga yoga

As we practice Ashtangayoga, we practice being able to focus our gaze, synchronize movement with breath and our body locks. Ashtanga yoga is a living tradition that is taught from teacher to student. This yoga form conveys the love and respect for the teachers as well as for life itself, for nature and the opportunity to develop as a human being.


Medi yoga

Medi yoga is a yoga form that gives your body a chance of self-healing. This is through therapeutic movements, breathing techniques and meditations. These are the tools you receive that help you find balance in body and mind.
The yoga form has Swedish research behind it. Which proves that it helps with stress, anxiety, depression and high blood pressure. Read more about Medi Yoga here


Chakra yoga

When we work with our chakra system, we face some of life’s most fundamental issues.
The best part is that you can form your own idea of the chakra system, based on your experiences of yoga. During this workout you will practice Mediyoga and Yinyoga.


Yin yoga

Yinyoga is a yoga form that is a mixture of Chinese medicine, yoga and mindfullness.
When we practice this yoga form, we focus on the body’s yin parts. These parts are made up of skeleton, connective tissue, ligaments, joints and internal organs. The lower part of the body is at the center. We work sitting or lying down. Hips, spine and leg muscles become more flexible.


Dragon Dance

Dragon Dance is a mixture of yoga and tai chi. Designed to create awareness of body, breath and prana (the flow of energy).
We begin softly and with meditation or breathing exercise. Then we go into the dragon dance flow, where we challenge the whole body, and end with yinyoga and relaxation.


Kundalini yoga

Kundalini yoga is a dynamic form of yoga that consists of various kriyas, which is a series of yoga exercises. This yoga form consists of different positions, movement patterns, breathing techniques and focusing techniques. Also consists of mantras and various types of meditations.Suitable for all ages and physical conditions.

To think about before the yoga session

» Do not eat too big a meal for about 2 hours before. (If possible, eat fruit and drink water if you are hungry)
» No water drinking during the workout – we want to preserve the heat in the body.
» Whole and clean workout clothes
» For yoga mat loans, it is wiped clean after the workout
» We do yoga barefoot, so why not give them a little massage before
» Bring your own blanket, if desired for the relaxation
